News and Stuff
I know it has been quiet here on the page for a while, but if you read the blog lately you can see alot of this happend. There have been alot of work adding new cracks to the archive, but I have also updated alot of exsisting ones. Often I find extra picture files, docs and even some correct to the title of the releases.

The page still contains the game from the series of british games that costs £1.99 and £2.99 pounds. It was kinda special with all those cheap games comming out and alot of them were actually quite good games. Not all the games got exported from United Kingdom to the rest of the europe, but most did after a while. Enjoy the exsisting games right now and I will do a new update soon.

Mail sent to me:
I have recieved mail from a guy in Germany who will help me with a Super Monaco GP release and can help me with stuff from RSI and TRSI. When I tried to respond the mail then the owners mailserver denied the mail and I can see of later mails that you never recieved anything from me (even not a notice that your server denied it). Send the mail to me again and I will try to response once again (I wil respond from my Gmail account). Sorry for the problems it had caused and I hoped things can work better in the future.

Always use this adress to mail me. As you see later on this page I still need help about groups from United Kingdom, but also help with alot of missing titles here.

Help needed:
This leads me to another thing. Im trying to get more UK stuff found. Theres was plenty of nice groups around which did quite many releases through the 80s and 90s. Problem is their releases are kinda hard to find and therefore if any of you guys reading this could help with the releases, were in one of the groups or have contact to some old UK sceners then let me know. Anything could lead us to getting releases from those group preserved for the future. Just have to put in a note that I havn't listed many missing releases from the UK groups, simply because I don't know what they released. Please refer to the archive list instead.

I have made a list of the groups and their shortnames that came to my mind. Let me know if I miss any:

Babygang (BYG), Cleveland Cracking Service (CCS), Doughnut Cracking Service (DCS), East Enders Cracking Crew (ECC), Excess UK (XS), Fusion (FS), Ikari (Ikari), Ikari & Talent (I+T),
Laser (Laser), Nato (Nato), New Formula Crew (NFC), Paninaro (PAN), Phoenix (PHX), Pulsar (PUL), Rough Trade (RTI), S-Express (SXP), Scouse Cracking Group (SCG), Sub-Zero (SUB), Talent (TAL), Teeside Cracking Service (TCS), The Yattering (YAT), Triangle 3532 UK Division (3532), Twilight Zone (TZ) and Zenith (ZEN)

Just have to mention that they were many of released on the HVCD cds, but alot of releases there doesn't work so they have to be found elsewhere.

As you can see I have moved the Wanted Games section to the top of the page in hope that more people can help finding some of the missing releases.
Remember to check the wanted list and if you find anything I dont have just contact me here.

Its rather hard to follow the project when I just update the archive list I have decided to make a blog for the project. You can find it here. I havn't updated the blog regulary lately, but it's because I have used more time on sorting and web design than writing.

If you wanna check what has been sorted into the archive you can get the archive list here.

The guest book is gone, but in a while the old guestbook will be back in some way. The old one were here.

Wanted Games

Since the request have got too huge I have decided to split it in letters. Hope you have help me getting this one shorter. Remember to mail me if you can help.

Games to Download

Terra Fighter

In 1988 started Zeppelin Games started to make games for the Commodore 64. If you followed Zeppelin Games you already know that they did their last games in 1993. Terra Fighter were a quite interesting game which they did. It wasn't the first game Zeppelin Games, but already in the first year they did  plenty of games.

I got 6 versions of this game, but im sure other groups did this one. A group like Bros could easily have released a version fo this, but also Hotline and Nato.

Missing! If you check the missing lists you will see that 2000AD's version of Terra Fighter is missing. Their version got 3 trainers. If you find this one please contact me here.

The Array Version
Array did a quick version of this game. Theres no trainers and you have to wait on the game finish loading the intro and then the game.

You can get the game here.

The Dominators Version
Dominators also did a version of this game even a version with 2 trainers. Sadly the energy trainer doesn't work completly. When you have to shoot the end-level monster in the 3rd stage then it doesn't work. This is still the best trained version until we find the 2000AD version.

You can download the game here.

The Funtex Version
This version contains one trainer and were released by the german group called Funtex. It's one of the groups where it's hard to find their releases and I don't have many in the archive at the moment.

You can download the game here.

The Ikari Version
Ikari was a UK based group and existed as single for a few years before they went in co-op with Talent. The group had it's up and downs, but in the period when this game were released they did release plenty of titles. Therefore this intro got very known, also because of the music by JCH. This version got one trainer.

You can download the game here.

The Strike Force & Movers Version
This version were released by the strongest co-op in Germany at that time. It was quite known for their skilled crackers. One of them were General Zoff and he was known as one of germany's best crackers. They also did Terra Fighter and this version contains 3 trainers.

You can download the game here.

The Zenith & FBR Version
This version were released by Zenith and imported to the states by FBR. In 1988 it wasn't a standard that you NTSC fixed the games. Therefore it aint easy to point out who did the first release, but in this situation I have only seen one imported version. This version got no trainers.

You can download the game here.

Scorpion

This game were released by Hewson's budget game label, but like other companies they started to release new games under the label. They did their first games in 1987, but this one is from 1988 and it's known as one of the more special shooters that came out for the Commodore 64. The game wasn't that easy to do as Rack-It's tapeloader were known to change from game to game and it kept away a big group of crackergroups.

I got 5 different versions of this game where one of them is the imported version of one of the other 4. There might be a Dominators, Zenith and a Bros version, but also a Nato version. Im quite sure Megasnail could handle this loader without any problems.

Missing! I got 2 versions on the missing list. It's the Pulsar version with 2 trainers and the Rough Trade version with 2 trainers. If you can help with these please contact me here.

The Hotline Version
In 1988 where this game was released you could be quite sure that Hotline did almost every game.  They did this nice version with 3 trainers.

You can download it here.

The Ikari Version
Ikari also did a version of this game. Theres nothing special to mention about this version, but it got 2 trainers.

You can download it here.

The Strike Force & Movers Version
I mentioned it in the Terra Fighter section that Strike Force & Movers were known for their skilled crackers, so they it's kinda obvious that they also did this game. Their version got 3 trainers, but also docs are included in their release.

You can download it here.

The Strike Force & Movers & Mayhem Version
This is the same version as above, just that this version are imported to the states by Mayhem. It got the same numbers of trainers and docs are also included here.

You can download it here.

The Subzero Version
This version is released by Subzero and it's one of the releases which are harder to find. Subzero were another UK group, which later on merged into Pulsar which is another wellknown UK group too. This version contains 2 trainers.

You can download it here.

Real Stunt Experts

I'm not sure this were Alternative's idea to start a series like Codemasters had their simulator series, but in short words I can't say this is a great game. Rather one of the more crappy games and probably also the reason why noone took their time to make a quality version with trainers.

Even the game aint that great Im sure more versions exist of this game. First of all a version from Excess (UK) without the Fantasy import intro must exist, but still the other UK groups are missing.

The DCS Version
Nothing special abuot this version from DCS as theres no trainers or anything special to the game.

You can get the game here.

The Excess & Fantasy Version
The british Excess group wasn't rather outside United Kingdom, but they did plenty of releases and they were rather quick sometimes. Excess were the first to release this game and it got imported by Fantasy. As mention earlier there must exist as version of Real Stunt Experts without any import intro. Theres nothing special about this version except it's the version that got imported to the states.

You can get the game here.

The Transcom Version
It was rahter unusual that groups outside United Kingdom could get their hands on the budget tape originals, but Transcom were able to get them. Not only for this game, but we have seen other budget releases from them like Pasteman Pat. Theres nothing special about this version as like the other versions theres no trainers at all.

You can get the game here.

The Unicess Version
I was rather surprised when I saw this release from my own group. Sometimes it was a mystery to me how we got the most weird originals, but this time it's kinda fun to see this version being between the 4 versions I got. Also another version without trainers.

You can get the game here.

Street Cred Football

Players were another company who did budget titles, but they did it for quite some years when this game came out. They did 2 games in the Street Cred series - this one and Street Cred Boxing.

This is quite interesting as I only got one version of this game. Im quite sure other groups did this game too, but I guess they wasn't spread so well. If you know of groups who cracked this game or got them please contact me here.

The Hotline & INC Version
The only version I have seen of this game. It's from period where Hotline and INC worked closely together.  Im not quite sure, but I think this is the first intro made where the release group and import group combined the intro.

You can get the game here.

Protium

One of the companies I didn't mention in the last update were Alternative, not because they didn't do many games, but I had to choose some out of many. So this time I picked a game from them. It's one of the more unknown games called Protium. A nice and simple shooter, but not much action. Still one of the interesting games on a budget label.

I got 3 versions of this game where one of the versions is the imported version. I know Triangle 3532 also did this game, but still I would expect it's possible to find a version from Nato, Zenith or Hotline.

The Ikari Version
Ikari were fastest on this game and did this quick version with just one trainer.

You can get the game here.

The Ikari & Survivors Version
Since Ikari were fastest Survivors imported their version to the states.  Back in 1988 it wasn't so much focused on pal and ntsc fixing, so if you run this version of pal you can't see much of the Survivors intro as it's coded for NTSC.

You can get the game here.

The Pulsar Version
I have mentioned Pulsar before and here's another of their releases. This version contains 10 trainers where 4 of the trainers is where you press yes and no. The rest of the trainers is key trainers which you can use in the game. It wasn't used that much in 1988, but got popular later on.

You can get the game here.

Spaghetti Western Simulator

This were one of the more special games which were released as budget game. It was one of the few games from Zeppelin Games, which didn't use the usual Visiload as tapeloader. This might be the reason why I didn't have so many versions of this game.

Theres 5 versions of this game, where one version is imported and another version is trained. I know I miss the version from Holocaust and from United Artists, but other groups  like Legend and Ikari & Talent might have released this game.

The 1st Dominators Version
This is the first version Dominators released of this game and this is the version used to make the import, but also the other Dominators version. This version got no trainers at all.

You can get the game here.

The 2nd Dominators Version
The 2nd version from Dominators is actually the first version which were cracked by the UK members of Dominators and afterwards trained by one of danish members. This version got 2 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Dominators & Exodus version
The same version as first one mentioned, just this version is imported to the states by Exodus. As this is the same version as above theres no trainers on this version.

You can get the game here.

The Paramount & Alphaflight Version
In the beginning of the 90s Paramount and Alphaflight had a co-op. I can't remember how long it lasted, but I reckon it wasn't for that long. Still some nice titles got released there. They also did a version of this game with 3 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Transcom Version
Transcom also did a version of this game. Their main-cracker Unknow were very skilled and it wasn't a problem for him to crack this game. Besides the crack then take a look at the intro where the graphics are painted by one of the famous pixel experts on the Commodore 64 - Hobbit. This version contains 3 trainers.

You can get the game here.

Kendo Warrior

Byte Back also did some budget games from the Commodore 64. Kendo Warrior was one of them and as you can see on the screenshots they did some rather nice games. Again we don't see many groups doing this game, but I expect it was because it people oversaw the release. Still I expect some of the UK groups did a version too.

I got 5 versions of this game and one of the releases is a re-release, which means it's released in 2004. As mentioned above the pictures I would expect it's possible to find other UK groups who did this game.

The Doughnut Cracking Service Version
As I mentioned at Bomb Fusion the UK members of Pulsar went to DCS and actually it's one of those members who did this game. This version contains 3 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Hokuto Force Version
This version is a re-release, which were released in 2004 by Hokuto Force. When you compare this version to the others you should remember they got better tools to pack and crunch, but also they don't have any timerush to get it released before others. Still it's a really nice version with 15 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Nato Version
Nato also did a version of this game. It's not done by Megasnail, so you can y and n in the trainer as usual. This version contains 3 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Paninaro Version
You might have noticed that this intro looks alot like the Ikari intro, but when the intro were used in Ikari it was only Tri-Dos who used it. When he left Ikari and were floating around in some other UK groups the he decided to form Paninaro. It didn't last for long as most members went to the Amiga.  Still they did a version of this game with 3 trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Rough Trade Inc. Version
Rough Trade Inc. also did a version of this game. You can read a short description about RTI elsewhere on this page. This version contains 2 trainers.

You can get the game here.

Scorpius

Scorpius were one of the great games that got released on budget. It's made by the Rowland brothers who also did Creatures, Creatures 2 and Mayhem in Monsterland. It's a nice and cute Gradius clone, which I think you should try out. The groups really had problems with this one as it used the famous Bleepload tapeloader and the coder also added a reset protection, so it wasn't possible to reset crack it. This kept out alot of groups, but also I think some are missing.

I got 5 versions of this game, but it was only cracked by 2 groups. You can read more about it under the different versions. I know Phoenix did crack this game, but there might be some other groups who also did this.

The Bros Version
This is the most common version that you can find around on the internet. This version got no trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Bros & Public Enemy Version
This is the Bros version that got imported and ntsc fixed in the states. As I mentioned earlier then this is an example where they had to remove the crack intro because they don't have enough memory. Like the original Bros version this version got no trainers.

You can get the game here.

The Drive & Strike Force Version
Actually this is a Drive release, but if you read the scroll text you can see that the game were cracked by 2 members of Strike Force. This version got no trainers, but Drive also included the picture file to the game.

You can get the game here.

The Drive & Strike Force & Mechanix Version
Actually this game were cracked by Drive & Strike Force, but trained by Mechanix. This was a normal thing to do back in 1987 and 1988. This version got one trainer.

You can get the game here.

The Drive & Strike Force & Science 451 Version
Another version of this game where its made out of the crack Strike Force & Drive did. This version with 3 trainers were done by Science 451. Remember that you can't press space before a while, but this is because the game is unpacking while you see the intro.

You can get the game here.
